The needles stimulate the sensory nerves under the skin and result in the release of the body’s natural pain killing substances; endorphins and encephalins. Acupuncture can he very helpful for people with chronic pain conditions with approximately 70-80% of people having a positive effect and improvement in the quality of their lives.
